DIY Wedding Photo Booth Using Apple Macbook + Ikea Curtains

diy wedding photo booth mac ikeaTalk about ingenious! David Cline, a 19-year old Philadelphia student, decided to spice up his sister's wedding reception by creating his own homemade DIY photo booth using his Macbook laptop, a $99 printer and some Ikea shower curtains.

Here's how it worked. David used the free Automator software program that came pre-installed on his Macbook to program a method that allowed guests to walk over to the laptop, enter their name, which then prompted three photos to be taken, which were then printed on a strip to be taken home. While each guest got to take home a cool free souvenir, all the pictures that were taken throughout the night were saved on his computer for his sister. How awesome is that! The video below shows his DIY photo booth in action. Sweet!

  2. photo booth rentals are too expensive when this does the exact same thing. also, sometimes the people that represent photo booth rentals have bad grammar.
