We are cutting our catering budget for our wedding. At first we had planned a nice sit down dinner with servers but have no opted to have a "buffet-style" dinner with a pasta bar to shave costs. Also, we instead chose to not have a wedding planner for the day of. Got to cut costs anywhere a gal can!
ReplyDeleteWe're cutting almost everything: professional photographer, videographer, catering, those silly engraved napkins.... We're having family cook food for the reception (which is held in a club room at our apartment for free!), one of my aunts is doing the flowers, and various family members are taking pictures. I'm planning the entire thing for around $2000. And you know what? It's actually turning out rather nice.
